Repel Alongside Underwater Explorers
During this 10 day expedition in the jungles of Yucatan, Mexico, our team was able to explore and document 32 new cave systems. Chased away by swarms of killer bees, millions of mosquitos, poisonous burning plants, the hot burning sun and trillions of starving ticks, we belly crawled, repelled and scuba dove into the unexplored well-shafts throughout the jungle floor.
The locals call them CENOTES, or natural springs or wells, we call them opportunity. We are there to explore these million year old openings discovering underground history, many containing underwater archeological discoveries; ancient pottery, stone walls, Mayan human remains, newly discovered underwater pin-head sized microbes along with Revolutionary weapons.
